hail mary

Hail Mary is an ode to my childhood as a recovering Catholic. Each letter of the prayer is hand embroidered, representing the devotion placed in faith, and the people we were taight to trust and emulate. Only later to recognize the iront and hypocrisy. Our identities are shaped by the beliefs handed to us long before we can question them.
